In our work together, we will identify the emotions, thoughts and behaviours that occur in stressful situations. By identifying needs and wants, you gain clarity for yourself and for the dynamics of your relationships with others. It will help determine the path that best suits your life.
For individual therapy I utilize a cognitive-behavioural approach as well as a narrative approach. I use cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) to better understand an individual’s thoughts, emotions and behaviours in their daily life. For narrative therapy, I use it as a way to create a story to better understand the problem and gain another perspective.
For couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman Method. I use the Gottman Method to improve communication between partners and better understand what impacts and influences the relationship. With my experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem and communication issues, I’d like to support you in finding a balance in your life.
